​Welcome to the 2024-2025 year!  
I am excited to serve as the Mustang Band Booster Club President! The Mustang Band has brought a lot of joy to our family, and I hope it will be equally fulfilling for you and your child. The more I have learned about high school bands over the last two years, the more I appreciate our directors and our program. We are fortunate that our kids are learning, growing, and creating fun memories while members of the Mustang Band. 

Some fast facts about the Mustang Band Booster Club:
  • We are a 501(c)(3) organization established to support the MHS Mustang Band
  • We do not charge dues for membership but do raise funds for the band program through a car wash, write-a-check campaign, and matching donations from employers
  • We are a separate entity from the MHS Booster Club. Called the “big booster club”, the MHS Booster Club charges dues and supports all sports and extracurricular activities at MHS. Note: remember to indicate band membership when registering for the MHS Booster Club. 
  • We need you for this year to be a success!

We offer a range of volunteer opportunities throughout the year. The leadership team is listed to the left: if there is an area that appeals to your strengths or interests, please reach out. Not quite ready to take on a new job? Consider shadowing a chair this year so that you can hit the ground running next year.  

Throughout the year there will be several volunteer opportunities for all parents. No band experience? No problem! You can learn! We
need lots of helpers, especially in the fall, so please jump in and try to volunteer when able. Sign-Up Genius links will be sent to all families very soon! There are big and small jobs, so hopefully something will be the right fit for you.

New and Returning Parents: Please join us for our annual Meet the Band Performance followed by the Band Picnic and Band Booster Club Meeting at 6:30pm on August 16th. This is the time to meet the directors and the Band Booster Club officers, and find out more information about the Mustang Band program.

I know for new families the start of the year can be overwhelming. We have a deep bench of veterans – and we want you and your family to
have a memorable year, so please reach out to me, or any of the volunteers listed, and we will do our best to help.
